Breaking out of the Block
These quilts are selections from my first one-person show. I was trying to make the transition from Quilt Maker to Quilt Artist. I started with a basic block that was 6" by 36" and then changed it in any way possible. I made quilts for the floor, ceiling, and as three-dimensional sculptures.
